- Burrumbuttock Preschool is committed to a Child First Paramountcy Principle in all that we do.
- Burrumbuttock Preschool is committed to creating and maintaining an environment that promotes the safety of all children. All staff and volunteers are responsible for promoting the safety, wellbeing and empowerment of children at all times.
- Burrumbuttock Preschool has a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse, and all involved have a legal, moral and ethical obligations to keep children safe and to contact all relevant authorities when we are worried about a child’s safety.
- Burrumbuttock Preschool has specific Risk Management Strategies, Policies and Procedures in place that support the Management Committee, Staff and Volunteers to achieve our Commitments to Child Safety and the Child Safe Standards.
- The Burrumbuttock Preschool is committed to providing a culture where the prevention and reporting of abuse is supported and encouraged and assisted with Best Practice Training including National Child Safety Training.
- Burrumbuttock Preschool is also committed to upholding the United Nations Rights of the Child.
